Today, I wanted to talk about another of my favorite place in Shanghai : Ferguson Lane. It is a small and quiet place where you can eat delicious western food :) You have pizzeria, a french bakery and a nice coffee.
When you hang out on the terrace you just have the feeling to be in a secret place where only expats come to enjoy family time on week ends. Actually, there is nothing secret about this place but it is never too crowded and it is really nice to go.
I usually go to eat to coffee tree for lunch as they have a really good deal for lunch : you have a starter (salad or soup), a main course, a drink and a biscotti for dessert, for only 80 RMB.
Aujourd'hui, je voulais montrer un des mes endroits préférés à Shanghai : Ferguson Lane. C'est un endroit relativement calme et caché, où vous pourrez déguster de la nourriture occidentale :) Il y a un pizzeria, un café et une boulangerie française.
Il est vrai que quand on est sur la terrasse, on a l'impression d'être dans un endroit secret, où seuls les expats viennent pour profiter de leur weekend en famille, mais Ferguson Lane est assez connu à Shanghai ;).
En général, je vais déjeuner au coffee tree car ils proposent une très bonne offre à seulement 80 RMB avec une entrée (salade ou soupe) un plat, une boisson et un biscuit en dessert.
To start we decided to have the aspargus soup, they always have a different soup, the other time we had tomato soup, potato soup etc...
Pour commencer, nous avons choisi la soupe aux asperges, un vrai délice et je note également qu'à chaque fois que je viens déjeuner, ils proposent une autre soupe. Nous avons déjà eu droit à la soupe à la tomate, aux pommes de terre etc...
Then I choose to have the proscuitto panini with sun dry tomatoes and basil. I love this panini :) and my boyfriend choose the lasagnas.. the picture speak for itself ;)
Ensuite, j'ai choisi le panini au proscuitto, basilic et tomates séchées. C'est mon panini préféré ! Mon ami a choisi les lasagnes... la photo parle d'elle même ;)
And to finish... the chocolate biscotti, perfect with a nice coffee.
Et pour finir, le biscuit au chocolat, parfait avec un espresso.
